Hi, I’m Hannah
I’m a psychotherapist and I trained in counselling and psychotherapy after a career in the arts and theatre. I have used personal therapy at various points in my life to help me make sense of different experiences and explore my thoughts and feelings. I love that my work can help others feel heard and deepen their understanding of themselves.
I hold an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Strathclyde. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling from The University of Edinburgh and a COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. I am a Registered Member of the BACP.
While I’d like to hear from anyone who feels we may work well together I have a particular interest and experience in counselling during the perinatal period. While this typically refers to the time covering pregnancy from conception up until the child is 2 years of age, I work with any number of topics relating to this period. This can include infertility, trying-to-conceive journeys, IVF, pregnancy, baby or infant loss.
Alongside therapy, I offer group-work sessions, self-complete online courses and signposting to some other useful people and places. I am an LGBTQIA+ and HAES friendly practitioner. It’s my hope that even if counselling isn’t for you at this moment, you might find something helpful here. If you have any further questions or would like to have a chat, I'd love to hear from you.
